Blackout Perfect Fit blinds are blackout in the fabric only, light may seep in around the frame.
Fixings & ControlsThe blinds are easily fitted using push-fit brackets which fix between the glass and rubber beading on the window. Please choose the size bracket that best suits your window when ordering. Please note that Perfect Fit blinds sit proud of your window frame and may restrict some bifold doors from closing flat. The top part of the blind contains the fabric when pulled up. This protrudes 50mm from your frame. This also means they are not suitable for sliding doors. If you know the exact depth of the window, please let us know by email or on the live chat once ordered. Extra brackets may be chargeable if the incorrect depth is ordered. Certain windows may require a handle spacer to be installed by the customer to increase the depth of the window handle to prevent the handle from catching on the frame of the Perfect Fit blind once installed.
Manufacturing TolerancePlease note that made-to-measure blinds are made within a 3mm manufacturer tolerance on both the width and drop of the blind. We will make a small deduction on the width of your Perfect Fit blind to allow for the brackets. Please note, the brackets come in pre-set sizes of 18mm, 20mm, 22mm, 24mm, and 30mm. Due to this, there may be occasions when the blind does not sit flush with your window frame.
Made-to-Measure BlindsA product that requires the exact width to be typed in the box is 'Made-to-Measure' and cannot be returned under our normal terms and conditions.
Child SafeAll of our blinds are sold with built-in child safety mechanisms. We adhere to the guidelines set out by the British Blind and Shutter Association and take safety extremely seriously. All blinds come with the relevant child safety instructions and warnings. Please ensure you follow the provided instructions and warnings carefully. We’re committed to supplying blinds that are child-safe, and all of our blinds undergo rigorous testing to ensure they comply with British Safety Standard EN13120.
You must install all supplied safety devices alongside your blind.
Instructions on installing the safety devices are included in the fitting instructions you will receive with your order.

If you receive your blind without any additional safety devices. It may be because your new blind is safe by design and does not require additional safety devices.
